SumTotal is calling their product a Human Capital Management system. I’m sure the people who had purchased Plateau or even SuccessFactors Learning system were delighted to hear the news. They purchased Outstart, a LMS. Fear factors have always been part of learning management space. What about Kenexa?

Most of the time (as is the case with Oracle) these are different products. I know the folks from CornerStone and their product does some really interesting things.
