Xerox Learning, DDI, Forum Corporation, and hundreds of other “instructional systems companies” sprung up. Sure we know about software and services that go along with things like: Informal Learning Social Learning Toolkits Resource sites Books 24x7, Safari But will people really pay for these things? This is a very strange time. While increasing amount of concept work and the pace of change puts a premium on learning, the business of learning faces an incredibly difficult time.
