There’s a lesson here for those of us who build courses. You can’t go wrong when you mix elearning chit chat with delicious Cheesecake. During the jam session, they shared one way they use videos in their training program. It’s a great way to build a motivating and engaging training program. I’m coming off of back-to-back-to-back conference sessions and elearning workshops. While the travel gets old, I really enjoy getting to connect with so many of the blog readers.

I think we need to provide learners with some “social anchors&# in these types of eLearning programs to help facilitate the social learning process. What's the big deal about microlearning?

Oh, dear… There’s that 3-day training program this week. Microlearning shouldn’t, however, be assumed to be simply taking one lesson or module and breaking it up. Deliciousness aside, that doesn’t quite make sense when we’re trying to save our employees time, does it? Using machine learning means the program can evaluate inputs from the learner to identify patterns and inform algorithms that make decisions. It’s 9am Monday and you’ve got 237 e-mails to reply to.
