Well back to another expo conference installment – this time it is DevLearn Day 1. There seems to be a lot of vendors at DevLearn (and I saw it at ICE too) whose product is the anti-LMS. The strange thing about this at DevLearn is the blame game. Rapid Intake is now called Litmos Author. Blame it on the LMS.

Last week, I attended DevLearn. I suspected that the expo would feature a large quantity of rapid content authoring tools. Not only was it quite present at DevLearn, but in general, this is one of the new “hot” items in the space. One such vendor is Rapid Intake. I wasn’t disappointed.

Long has tools such as Studio and Captivate been on the higher side, the same can be said for vendors such as Rapid Intake and dominKnow. Rapid Intake – Talk about price increase. Right now it is Storyline, but I won’t make it official until after I attend DevLearn and see some of the new shiny tools. .

7 Rapid Intake Unison – One of the first RCATs to offer collaborative capabilities on the net. The newest version adds an adaptive learning capability, which I saw first hand at DevLearn – it was extremely impressive and extremely rare in this space. 1 Rapid Intake mLearning Studio – RI makes three products.
