Here is just a few of ones I like, that are unique and you could use in your LMS/LCMS/CMS, Learning Portal (caveat: your vendor must be able to accept APIs, otherwise it won’t work). Why would I want to have an API in my LMS/LCMS or CMS? Again, either incorporate into your LMS/LCMS/CMS or your learning portal.

What are the differences between LMS, LCMS, and CMS? LCMS” stands for “Learning Content Management System”, or software used to author and manage learning content. In today’s market there is no reason to buy a product that requires you to do a full customization, either on the front end, back end or entire system, unless – you decided to go with an open source solution such as Moodle or Drupal, where you need that extensive customization.
