Adobe Flash is dying. Long ago Steve Jobs stopped the usage of Flash in Apple devices. But, ever since Google announced that it would block flash in its browsers, the impact has been huge. Also, most of the Android devices too do not support Flash. Also, most of the Android devices too do not support Flash.

Hence, the scenario has made the switching over from flash plug-ins and SWF to html5 has been indispensable. The flash courses proved unsuitable for the Chrome browsers that were rarely used. Ability to add basic transitional effects – for those that want to use it . Another issue I have with many vendors who offer effects – again, I like that – is that they fail to mention. The total amount of time to save and publish video with effects is longer depending on the number of transitions and effects.

But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. They just do not see the benefit nor value – NOW – of having their products available to be used effectively and optimized for consumer slate tablets, aka “tablets&#. Oh, yeah, social learning.
