On the vendor side, nice set to select from although on the freebie side – always is lame. Vendor Angle. A must for any e-learning vendor. That said, vendors have found the show overall to be a mixed bag. Vendors have told me that overall they find this to be a very worthwhile event.

My Learning tab – shows alerts, recent learning, upcoming events. Graphical progress bar – basically less text or funky icons that only the vendor knows what is – example, a recall one vendor using a floppy disk to represent an online course. Social – solid, could be better.

Still listed as a social learning management system, they have made some new strides that really work for me. Great educational learning management system. Facebook and SMS (text) notifications. Customized skinning – albeit in today’s market there are some vendors who charge for skins – disgusting! Excluding the above, there are vendors out there who charge extra for. Social learning – in many cases it is a more robust than your standard chat, discussion, etc. Modules in 2012.

There are some web conf vendors that enable the capability, that when the attendee registers, they can select Outlook or Gmail and have the event auto scheduled.
