Surprises in E-Learning One of the biggest surprises, is that so many folks are unaware that e-learning was an umbrella term, as I noted in the History of the LMS post. Vendors use it to refer to online courses/content. On top of that, they misspell it – the term is e-learning.

Sadly though many still are in the dark on true mobile learning – i.e. not accessing their platform via a mobile web browser. Authoring Tools – With only a small sample of vendors that are SaaS based, pickings are slim. Best example? auto show up in their preferred e-mail calendar. Market as a whole.

Again - I would really welcome: Links to good templates or example RFPs. Included in John's dissertation are sample outline elements from different RFPs. Probably the best thing to do is simply to search on Google using a few tricks. You can also add "template" to the search to find a few more good results.
