While some view themselves as “social learning&# savvy, incorporating various components, others seem to see themselves as just sitting on the sidelines. Mobile and Social. Social on the other hand is a hit or miss. VkClass - System is for the education market and is built similar to Facebook, as a result the UI is crisp and clean. Mobile as a whole in the LMS space is still extremely low, but there are low cost systems that offer it. . Pluses and Minuses.

Vendors were saying, lets “wait on those&# or “our customers are not requesting them, so we are holding off&#. Social learning? If they were doing it, Facebook like page, a crummy blog that looks nothing like a real blog, a Twitter like feed, maybe RSS, text chat and YouTube functions and upload/download angle.

Bonus: Some type of wildcard – i.e. *PDF (assuming you have lots of PDF materials). Social tied to specific content (course or courses for example), to a group or groups, to a community (in some ways reminds me of the old COP – community of practice). E-Learning 24/7. Power to Success.
