Product Review: Totara

eLearning 24-7

Blog – This was on the trial and for a nice product like this – it should be removed for the trial. Unless their is some group component here or the psuedo Facebook angle, I see no real gain. While that makes sense, what hurts the product is the overkill of information. the product as a whole is of great value.

What I am hearing and seeing in E-Learning

eLearning 24-7

It comes from me talking to vendors, buyers, monitoring the industry all the while taking notes and seeing the trends/patterns appear right before my eyes. Web site stinks = product stinks. What has always amazed me are number of e-learning vendor web sites whose design looks like it came from 1995 when Netscape ruled the land.

for end users to see in the final product. The ability to record audio in real time or post time makes a lot of sense and eliminates the need for using Audacity (albeit it is a wonderful and free product). There are more vendors who do not offer the ability to post – i.e. add audio afterwards it is quite amazing.
