New Authoring tool rankings #11 to #20

Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!) Well besides my rankings of course, think about this: 1st vendor to offer collaboration and peer review. 1st vendor to have online/offline mobile synch. 1st vendor IMO to truly have HTML5 output.

Authoring Tools- The DevLearn Experience

Simply put, one vendor has over 200 Flash-based templates in their product. Another vendor I spoke with, is offering 80 templates. Other vendors are falling suit. It is the only e-learning solution that I know of, that offers it. HTML5: Must be a Fad. I believe that is going to change.

Something is Going on Down there in the LMS Market

Samsung Galaxy S is expected to be the first real challenger to the iPad, it runs on Android OS, offers Flash 10.1 Again, the iPad runs with HTML5, not Flash nor Java. True, the other tablets and Samsung offer Flash 10.1 and Java, but they offer HTML5 too. Same issue occurred with Opera – used Flash and Java.

Kinect technology was not created at a Microsoft lab, rather it was created by a group of folks in Cambridge, England. Add dropbox or something similar – I have seen this with a few vendors in the RCAT space, and it makes sense – Dropbox is hot – why not offer instantpaper capability too? M-Commerce.
