PowerPoint – Ability to integrate or use PPT in your courses. Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash. Flash output – still red hot. Flash isn’t going anywhere, except maybe the route of leaded gasoline. It isn’t.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. You get the Flash code – YES – you get the code, which you can do whatever you want with it. iPod, mobile phones, YouTube, message boards, e-mail. Import and convert PPT to the web, add rich media.

This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . In all the years I have attended and have known about ATD (formally ASTD), this year is by far the most in terms of e-learning vendors, especially those in the LMS space.

I’ve always found this product to be the top of the line for PowerPoint to Flash course builds. It is easy to use and once you learn it, easy to push out content. But, from an e-learning developer standpoint, the thought of using a template is the same as painting with numbers. Articulate. Adobe Captivate.

Each PowerPoint slide appears in order, following your PPT order. For example: your first PPT slide is on the timeline then you add a word document, next an image file, another slide (your 2nd one in the deck u uploaded), then audio/movie and so on. ppt slide, quiz, image, etc.). They offer a SaaS version, but that is fee based. They have a freebie version which has an appropriate number of feature sets, then they have paid versions for individual and organization. The freebie does not offer SCORM nor monitoring, but has social learning, assessment tool inc. Supports Flash and HTML5.
