Best booth – Gamelearn, very modern and hip – but no demos; so Mindmarker wins out – nice hip booth and mobile devices with their product on it to play around on. I like Gamelearn’s new training game dealing with negotiation. Mindmarker – another mobile product with on/off synch, has real potential.

This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . In all the years I have attended and have known about ATD (formally ASTD), this year is by far the most in terms of e-learning vendors, especially those in the LMS space.

I would estimate that there was a 60-40 split, still instructor led driven, but even a significant number of the ILT vendors were offering subsets or capabilities to turn their ILT into online via webinars or online courses. However, the ability to do real time via mobile – i.e. ask question, people in the room respond – real time polling – hasn’t caught on yet in this space.
