The same thing applies to the learning management system market. The “I’ll just look at a couple of systems, and decide from there” method doesn’t work either. You want a system with a modern UI, easy to use interface – around 50% offer it – we have a long way to go!

But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. Yet, a majority of vendors in the e-learning space as a whole, are just not doing it. Oh, yeah, social learning. So, what are the next possible innovations a LMS can offer in their systems?

I have seen over 150 systems, 80 plus authoring tools, dozens of web conferencing products, mobile learning, quiz assessment tools, CMSs and learning portals, and not everyone of them meets those two statements. Learning Management Systems, LCMS, Learning Portals. Plateau Talent Management System.
