However there are vendors who sell their API solution wrapped in a piece of software. Google code is open source code, so you can manipulate. Typically APIs are free.

While mobile learning is moving at an incredible speed, faster than anticipated by some of my colleagues, it does not come without a cost. Vendor can create a component so you can push directly into your LMS, without having to upload it directly (extra cost). EasyGenerator can compete with any rapid content authoring tool on the market. Even with a learning portal, many people have some type of database on the back end for tracking purposes. Bottom Line.

Across the board, a large number of vendors (from small to large) saw increases in their quarter numbers. Especially, when vendors released their 2010 final numbers and saw big increases from the previous year.
