The downside to training management products is the inability to upload any other 3rd party authoring tool or courses from an off the shelf vendor. Yeah, you can upload word docs, PPT, etc. Actually, I do blame: Vendors who still post RFP templates on their site – which by the way tend to be geared towards themselves.

Templates – growing at quick clip. This will become one of the biggest features in 2012 – especially with people wanting to create simulations without being an e-learning developer. PowerPoint – Ability to integrate or use PPT in your courses. Perhaps they are unaware of the RCAT space as well.

is not the only product which has an issue with a 64 bit Windows computer but in combination with PPT 2010, I’m unaware of any other. Robust feature set – properties, elements, templates, video editing, image editing. Over 70 templates including ones for games, quiz games, interactions, components. One click Publish.

Certification templates. E-mail specific slides to subject matter experts for review. Cannot move slides in the arrange mode – i.e. once you upload the PPT with the slide order, you cannot move say slide #9 to spot #4, rather you have to do this in PPT and then re-upload. Ability to add YouTube videos to course(s).
