hey it is a Mashup of Emotions! Although after talking to several vendors, irritation seemed to be a part of their response to me. Estimate 55% e-learning related content, including e-learning vendors and ILT vendors who added a “virtual training” component as part of their offerings.

To me this is a very important question because it goes beyond, “what is nice” to what is “necessary” Mobile Learning – 68.5%. Peer Review, Chat, Collaborative Learning – 68.5%. Social Learning – 57.1%. E-commerce – 14.2%. Mobile learning rules.

People in the booth that actually know the product inside and out – I’m surprised on how this continues to be a problem at a lot of e-learning shows; some companies stock their booths with people who are very nice, but really do not have any knowledge on the product, beyond what they read on the product sheet they are handing you.

While the global economy has yet to fully reverse itself, it is clear that many vendors believe it is, or realize that potential clients have no problem paying for it. While their continues to be a slight increase in providing tech support and service for free (at least one year), the same cannot be said for e-commerce.
