So, when I went and checked out Saba Social, Saba’s new social learning platform, I had very low expectations. Saba Social is a very solid product, that despite a few hiccups and “huh&# moments, achieves what it sets out to do, provide a user friendly social experience. I was surprised. They finally figured it out.

LMS Products of the Year 2010. A lot of great products out there this year, new updates and latest versions; new companies, new services and just some real innovation. I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. The product is Flash based, which is nice, but lack of mobile optimization for the iPad. Categories.

After logging into the system a pop up window appears with four option, under the title “How to Get the Most out of the Plateau TMS. You can click a check box, if you do not want the pop-up to appear the next time you log into the system.

I wonder if we have truly achieved this premise, i.e. learning without borders or are we stating something that is not yet accurate? Go onto any social media site: Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Quora or any of the thousands of sites, and you will see people engaging with total strangers. Social Engagement. Answer: Virtually nil.
