Product Review: Plateau TMS (Talent Management System)

eLearning 24-7

I’ll be the first to admit, that I was not a big fan of the previous versions of the Plateau system. After viewing the Plateau TMS, my concerns in one area have been eliminated, in others, not so much. Plateau LMS is a Talent Management System, made up of four modules. Plateau Learning. Plateau Performance. Plateau Career and Succession. Plateau Compensation. Euros and other currency (beyond USD) in the Plateau Compensation.

There is a growing list of vendors, including small/mid size that are adding talent management components that match the Big Dog systems. A couple of vendors have added HRIS modules. It is interesting to note, that many of the vendors are targeting the SMB space, especially the small size (less than 500 employees) market. What is nice is there are still a significant number of vendors who have not added it. They offer a SaaS version, but that is fee based.
