If the vendor has load balance (which anyone who has servers should), then the bandwidth claim just doesn’t fly – not even in a spaceship to Mars - unless you i.e. the customer is having internal issues with your network lines or your own servers. They do not have servers with load balance. Bottom Line.

Eliminates the “storage&# content component of learning management systems that sadly continues to grow- to offset systems’ bandwidth and server costs. Web conferencing vendors can establish themselves to expand beyond the meeting standard. But for the majority of e-learning vendors, they just fail to see it.

How to solve this problem? It appears in the SAAS model with some small dog LMS vendors. on their server. We can surf the internet, find other vendors. E-Learning 24/7. social learning. It is atrocious and sickening. Your market share is not endless. Are you listening?

Additional benefit – if you leave and go to another LMS vendor, the courses you created are still on your server or the RCAT’s server and thus you can move them quickly and easily, rather than having your former LMS vendor involved, which sometimes can be painful . Save Money. Bottom Line.

I am seeing many vendors whose products were built for SMB (and more aligned on the lower side of mid size companies) who are now pushing into the mid/upper mid to large size customer band. The problem here is that they developed a solution that is not made for 10,000 or more end users. Mobile Learning and Tablets.
