Online/offline synchronization for mobile learning with tablets – The number one request I receive from my consumer clients is whether they system has a m-learning app that works with tablets and online/offline synchronization. A couple of vendors told me they think it will be a fad. Expect it to continue.

They probably offered you the ability to buy courses through them eliminating the need to go directly to the 3rd party vendor. The problem though is that what was available in the past, no longer applies today. Because in today’s global market (not just with e-learning), the expectations of consumers has changed.

As a former training director I had enough problems with users buzzing me about whatever, but having the name of the vendor too would not be good. E-commerce fee per year. E-Commerce with many vendors is included nowadays. Tin Can API with online/offline synchronization – AWESOME! Easy to use.

Combination of synchronous and asynchronous features. Most systems in the education space are still strongly focused on synchronous based learning. The system is still about synchronous based learning, which is fine, but it is nothing more than sticking ILT online.

Some misguided vendors whose products are heavily geared toward something other than learning and who want people to believe that end of the LMS is near, so why use it? Multi-tenent with different skins and logo.
