A good vendor will have what is sort of called a “sniffer&# , whereas the solution can identify whether it is a Blackberry or Iphone or whatever and automatically switch to the appropriate product. One is Questionmark. E-Learning 24/7. This is an ever-changing and growing market.

There are some good ones out there, and from a learning system standpoint some vendors in the B2B/B2C market are adding this capability. One e-learning vendor who has as part of their assessment solutions has an online proctoring component is Questionmark.

Questionmark has an iPad and iPhone app, but for whatever reason, if you type in “quiz&# or “assessment&# , they do not show up. This is wonderful, but who is going to spend that much time trying to find your app. If you are a quiz assessment tool or solution, then you should be listed under quiz or assessment. I love Questionmark, its a wonderful product and it can use a “connector” to integrate into your learning platform or system. Yes, it has a mobile component too. However, times are continuing to change in regards to the overall standalone quiz/assessment tools market.

Content authoring tool vendors equally not over abundent (Rapid Intake, Allen Communications, Articulate, Adobe were there among a few others). LMS vendors surprised how many didn’t show up. Assessment tool vendors – Questionmark was there, can’t recall anyone else. Especially from outside the U.S.
