PowerPoint – Ability to integrate or use PPT in your courses. Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash. eBook publishing capability – I see this as a real winner by 2014, but right now only a couple of vendors are offering it within their RCAT, heck even LMS.

This happens to me when I’m working with high resolution stock images. Sometimes you can find disks with fonts, clip art or photos for just a few dollars. Once the file is unzipped, all of the images are available to you in the ppt/media folder. You’ll find that things kind of bog down. Add them by clicking on the comments link.

When he submitted photos to the customer for review, he’d always slip in one with a fuzzy thumb in the image (or some other obvious issue). It never failed, the customer would focus on the thumb and he’d be able to steer them to the better photos and avoid the customer making demands that hurt the project. Mike Becvar.
