Images do not import from Powerpoint to Captivate

Ran across a problem. Copying images from Acrobat Pro to PowerPoint to storyboard script of learning object. Import of Powerpoint will not bring in the images imported into Powerpoint from Acrobat. If I save as image and update, they will work. The images are not visible in the preview of the individual slides. This is on a Macbook Pro. If I have time I will see if the same problem will occur on a PC.
