This is the number of major trends identified by the Brookfield Institute as having the potential to impact the future of the Canadian labour market over the next 10 to 15 years. These include: the omnipresence of artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality experiments, continuous learning and reinvented education.

These trends were identified as part of Employment in 2030, a new initiative of the Brookfield Institute, in partnership with Nesta, a UK innovation research foundation. The objective of Employment in 2030 is to generate a forecast of skills and occupations in Canada, revealing how the labour market could evolve by 2030.
