On one of my recent projects, I had a series of videos to intersperse throughout a course. I had an outline in the design document, but when I started actually developing it, I realized the structure wasn’t quite right. I was struggling a bit to figure out how to organize the pieces. I ended up putting all the “chunks” of content into boxes on a PowerPoint slide and dragging and dropping until I was happy with it.

Week One Recap. The first week of the blog book tour has ended and it has been a fantastic week with informative blog posts, information and opinions about gamification and even a bit of controversy. I stumbled across this article at Gigaom.com talking about how Snapguide is trying to be the how to guide for everything – on your mobile. The idea is quite simple really – anyone can create and upload a step-by-step guide using text, photos, and videos for a particular task/topic then others can search and find a relevant guide when they need one.
