Getting a Head Start with Mobile Interactions

When Raptivity released its first collection of mobile interactions for iPad and iPhone based eLearning, the path-breaking HTML5 Pack received several accolades. While it was a very useful collection of interactions, it mainly featured a bunch of memory aids such as flash cards. I read The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore today and I was gobsmacked. The e-book is filled with glorious pictures, marvellous animations and engaging interactivity. Of course, this isn’t the only title that takes advantage of its medium. For example, Rob Brydon has added audio and video components to his autobiography Small Man in a Book , while the textbooks on the Inkling app include animations, quizzes and social study tools.

Adobe Captivate: Update Image Usage Project-Wide

by Kevin Siegel. Adding an image onto a Captivate slide is as simple as choosing Insert > Image. Once the image has been added to the project, adding additional instances of the image to more slides is a snap. All that you need to do is go to the Library (Window menu) and drag the image onto a slide.
