From a vendor perspective there was a huge impact, but what was odd, is that some vendors still are living in the past, as though, this is a minor blip, and in 2021, everything will go back as it was – corporate wise that is. Sorry to disappoint – but it won’t. . that needed a system. I know it seems odd.

The spin is that you can accrue points by reading an article, taking a course, leaving comments, ranking content, completing an assessment and so on – varies among vendors. For some reason a lot of vendors, erroreously assume that modules is widely used – it isn’t. But SumTotal and alike do it as well.

What has been applying is the term mobile learning and how it it pitched to consumers in the e-learning sector, especially with LMS/LCMS/Learning platform vendors. It shows up in your browser. As I often say to folks, what is the point of having an app, if all it does is open up my browser. Accepts APIs and Mashups.

If you are seeking a system that is a mash-up of useful business tools with a strong LMS, than this is a system to examine. Their ideal market honestly is education, but they as many other VLPs have realized that corporate is a delicacy that cannot be passed up. Well, that’s good because I just made it up.

hey it is a Mashup of Emotions! Although after talking to several vendors, irritation seemed to be a part of their response to me. Estimate 55% e-learning related content, including e-learning vendors and ILT vendors who added a “virtual training” component as part of their offerings. Quick Notes.

Please remember for TM or as some vendors like to pitch as “performance management or knowledge management&# , the modules are extra and are not part of the system (at least for now). My runner-up is Operitel’s LearnFlex LSP. These standout to me.
