I bring this up, because after it was announced that Cornerstone will be acquiring SumTotal, the pundits went out and espoused some very interesting ideas. The L&D ripple effect with the LMS, a combo delight for some, showed up too. I never put innovation and SumTotal in the same sentence. SumTotal was never innovative.

Consumer goods are to follow, after all, if consumers are not going out and buying (and cutting interest rates to zero, wouldn’t be a factor to someone who is debating about going to the theater), then a ripple effect occurs. . Honestly, buying SumTotal would make more sense, but nevertheless, it is Saba.

You might think it means extensive metrics, but it doesn’t in the learning system space. It just means a few metrics, often ones, that will not help you with effective analysis to deliver better results with your employees or customers. The same number who offer social engagement on steroids? Blackboard.

Can metrics and data be accessed quickly and will it tell the story of the learning or training? Metrics and Reporting. to work but showing only what is completed on your metric side, isn’t as key, especially for customer education/learning. Access competes well against SuccessFactors, SumTotal, Kallidus and Talent LMS. #9
