We Need a Wiki in a Wiki

It's obvious that a Wiki would be a great help in my organization. I believe a Wiki would be a great addition to our systems so that it is easier to access commonly needed information quickly. So, we know we need a Wiki. Now I just need to figure out how I am going to measure its effectiveness.

This makes using something like google docs or pbwiki as an experiment somewhat difficult for the poor, lonely learning professional. How can you apply them to your existing systematic learning system if you don't know what the heck wiki even means? Nobody cared about wikis until wikipedia came along. I'm not sure I buy this.

In other words - How do we collaborate together in remote work teams to be as effective or even more effective than a team that works down the hall? I also heavily use Wikis, especially when the desired result is a set of web pages. I recommend pbWiki as an easy to use Wiki solution.
