Scenario-Based Learning in Higher Ed: Webinar Recording

Recording of a webinar on scenario-based learning in higher ed. Improve student engagement and application through scenarios.

Last month, I gave a webinar on scenario-based learning for Leeds Beckett University. This was an updated version of one of my older presentations, customized for this university audience to focus specifically on scenario-based learning in higher ed. They have graciously granted permission for me to share this anonymized version publicly.

What this webinar is about

Are you looking for ways to make your teaching more engaging? Have you ever considered using
scenario-based learning, but weren’t sure where to start? Scenario-based learning helps heighten
the link between theory and practice by presenting students with a real-world situation and a
challenge they need to overcome.

In this online presentation, I discussed how scenarios can enable students to explore real-life decision-making through classroom activities. I introduced the key concepts of making an effective scenario, offered practical tips to help you get started, and shared examples from both my own work and other sources.
