Low Cost LMS - Help Needed

I have not had much luck with open source LMS programs, mainly because of technical limitations on our part. Do you have any recommendations on which programs to consider? I tried to find information from the eLearningGuild, but had a hard time finding anything. Also, are the price quotes mentioned above reasonable?

I've basically limited myself to eLearningGuild and ASTD conferences. I am a big believer in the ability of web sites to provide simple forms that a user can fill out, that captures data that can be reused, and then feeds the data into templates that provide significant value. I'm still unsure how I should spend my time.
