Experiencing eLearning

Missed the beginning of the presentation due to my computer’s inability to start Elluminate in under 9 minutes). Changes will happen at the system level there (although theoretically you could have different versions of Sakai running from different servers). Open-ended interview questions for faculty. Faculty responses.

Cisco Buys Webex

Just saw this : Earlier this month, Microsoft announced it was finally adding voice capabilities to its Live Communication Server. This makes me wonder what these systems will start to look like in a couple of years and whether folks like Elluminate will be able to compete.

My Workflow with Synergy

Experiencing eLearning

When I liveblogged the TCC 2008 conference , I always had the Elluminate presentation up on my primary screen (my desktop computer) and my blog on my laptop. Firewalls and Security in Software as a Service

Tony Karrer

Elluminate did not work through several firewalls, so we had to switch to WebEx. For us to be successful doing this, we first need to make sure that the system will work with whatever firewall restrictions exist. For example, in our course, we found that Yahoo Groups were restricted in some corporate environments. Look at security.
