As an enterprise community manager, I am often faced withvaried user questions and needs. Before I move on let me briefly explain how Jive --whichpowers our social platform--works. Moreover, from an enterprise context, finding relevantcontent at the point of need is of paramount importance. Nonetheless, enhancing userexperience by giving them more control to filter in what they need or filterout as the case maybe will lead to greater adoption of social businessplatforms.

Lurking is Not a Static State

I have recently taken on enterprise community facilitation and was curious to see how people are interacting on our enterprise collaboration platform. This is especially true of communities in enterprises. At this point, I also "serendipitous-ly" stumbled upon a couple of conversations recently that touched upon lurking (this is why I love social media). Lurking and its role in communities has been on the forefront of my mind for the past few days.
