Hot Potatoes is not freeware, but it is free of charge for those working for publicly-funded non-profit-making educational institutions, who make their pages available on the web. Twilight Software Adventure Game Engine. Other users must pay for a license. The site has TeacherTube videos and a place to download the software.

My favorite is a link to his post showing some Engineering Domain searches Rich created with Google Co-Op. Its Windows only, but at least its freeware. Rich Hoeg, author of the eContent blog , sent me some links that I think are worth sharing. Wink is a very cool little screencapture tool I've never heard of before.

EveryStockPhoto is a search engine for creative commons photos, located in Vancouver, BC. This Australian site links to free stuff in Australia and worldwide, like fonts, freeware, etc. (4) Mashable's 90+ Online Photography Tools and Resources. Clip Art for foreign/second language instruction. Basic but still valuable.
