LMS and Learning Tracking Still Struggling While LMS solutions continue to get better, more powerful, more diverse, I continue to find myself searching for just the right solution for particular needs. I was also struggling for clients who needed very simple learning tracking but with some customizations. And the system itself is growing with sites like Social Media Informer. Social Learning Tools Should Not be Separate from Enterprise 2.0

A few days ago my Internet Time Alliance colleague, Harold Jarche, shared this article, written by Deb Lavoy, with me: Social Business Doesn’t Mean What You Think It Does, Neither Does Enterprise 2.0. It will disrupt institutions built upon the technology of the printing press – all communication enterprises, including education. Learning only takes place in a classroom or in a course delivered from our LMS, where we monitor and track it.
