In enterprises, I think we need to focus more of our efforts in the small niches of interests and topic areas. This is exactly what Chris Anderson talks about in the Long Tail. I relate to what Nick Carr was saying about " Abundantly abundant abundance " Carr was referring to the overload of video, graphics, photos, and pages in MySpace, Facebook and many other personal Social Networking tools. The overload causes fatigue, exhaustion and confusion.

I personally would bet against training as publisher of formal learning in the long-term. Lee Enterprises, down 97.3% Incremental changes, e.g., going from face-to-face in a classroom to virtual classroom or courseware, likely are not going to be sufficient in the long run. This is a very strange time. While increasing amount of concept work and the pace of change puts a premium on learning, the business of learning faces an incredibly difficult time.
