Maybe OneNote? And we should be connecting with colleagues in other organizations, so we might be using society-provided platforms or leverage LinkedIn groups. Here we (should) see organization wide Enterprise Social Networks like Jive and Yammer, etc. Also enterprise wide portal tools like Sharepoint. I woke up this morning thinking about the tools we use at various levels. Yeah, my life is exciting ;).

What is an LXP and why do I want one?

Extended Enterprise – So many LXP vendors want into this segment, and so few are successful. You can link to it from the platform to wherever you want to house it, like uh, an LMS for example. . Extended Enterprise might land the customer – which they definitely want at some point, but in the standards piece it is at least L&D (with employees). Nor have I seen the bookmarklet ability to tie into OneNote for example.
