I’m not sure what you will look like by the end of 2020 – perhaps a combo of SAP Litmos and you or a re-brand with feature sets for everyone, and not just Enterprise, which uh, SAP Litmos does as well, but SuccessFactors is ideally suited for employees, and only for folks who I think have SAP to begin with.

Features include: Extended enterprise – multiple children/sub-portals, each skinned/branded and each on a separate server – many EEs are on a shared server. Back in the days, the Plateau platform was ghastly awful. Not sure how SAP will eventually impact the system, but for today it stands strong. Unlimited portals.

OLM – I sometimes get folks who ask me about Oracle’s Enterprise LMS, better known as OLM. I mean Plateau was really garbage and then SF took it over and made it way better. I should note that the SAP LMS (which as one exec years ago told me, is like a toss-in for folks who want to stick with SAP), is even worse. .

But it's not really an enterprise LMS and has some very serious deficiencies when it comes to many of the needs of corporate training departements. Oracle's ( Learning Management and PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management but less so it's iLearning ) and SAP Enterprise Learning score better than I would have expected.
