Diigo recently released version 3 of their social bookmarking application. This is what I use to keep track of all my resources and what generates my Daily Bookmarks posts. The biggest change in this version is really the emphasis on the social part of social bookmarking.

1) Two issues that come up, at least in the world of training in a government environment, is that of a) security of information, and b) control of the information given to the learner to make sure it is accurate. I started using del.icio.us and Yahoo MyWeb to save bookmarks - locally saved favorites seem rather limited now. A purely virtual conference ( Free Online Conference - Corporate Learning: Trends) with amateur organizers, gorilla marketing through social networks, and a wiki for it's main page worked out pretty well.
