Back in May, I presented at the 11 th annual Lectora User Conference. My presentation was all about using Lectora’s status indicator object and showcasing unique, but easily implemented, uses for it within courses. A few lucky participants walked away with our recently released E-Learning Uncovered: Lectora 12 book. As one of the oldest rapid e-learning authoring tools, the shine may be off the apple, but Lectora still has much to offer.

Since many of the folks at the xAPI Cohort were familiar with the free LRS in SCORM Cloud , we wanted to share a story of how we helped one of our clients with a super particular xAPI problem, so TJ shared how to add attachments to an xAPI course in Lectora (if you want to jump down to those directions, click here ). If you don’t use Lectora, you could adapt these steps to another authoring tool that supports xAPI pretty easily (and if you’re struggling – just reach out to us ).

There is no study I am aware of that shows a direct correlation between high SAT or ACT scores and success at the college level. . It won’t match the power of say Storyline or Lectora, since they are authoring tool companies, whose primary focus is authoring. They sound wonderful, but so does gorging yourself on junk food at a sporting event. . How many of us have read it, see n it or heard it in the media?
