Anyway, after studying the market in-depth – the LEP market that is, I felt an RFP specifically for that market made sense. . While identifying influencers (an LRS standard feature) is of interest in some cases, I can see it with an LEP/LXP for example or with mentoring, the bigger winner is tying it to those wonderful KPIs that many systems are starting to add. I mean, even folks who are cutting the cord on cable and jumping over to Amazon channels for example, are selecting channels they believe they will use, even if they are not watching the channel on a daily basis, let alone dozens of hours per month. .

I often bring up FindAnLMS , my search and comparison platform for finding learning systems, including LMSs, simply because I have been told by many people looking for or researching LMSs that they like it and use it. . So, before you go ahead and post, can you recommend an LMS, I’d say go to FindAnLMS.com, register, activate and then log-in to conduct your search. Yet, as I have often noted, it is rarely pushed upon in an RFP, let alone a demo.

Examples. A friend of mine, got a RFP template from a LMS vendor’s web site. I am not a fan of grabbing RFP templates off of vendor’s web sites, only because if you read them in detail you will start to realize that for some of the questions, it is really geared toward that vendor’s product. If you are going to use the RFP template, then strip it down. With a SaaS based system, there is no need for a 10 or higher RFP. Welcome, Welcome.

To find a list, options include subscribing to the Brandon Hall Research Center, which contains 118 LMSs, including synopsis and details; Google search by typing in “LMS directory’ – go to Business.com and search within there, do your due diligence in what you want. I’m working with the local Community Emergency Response Team on training volunteers, but getting hands-on with a fire-extinguisher and putting out an actual burning device, or bandaging wounds on a patient, and doing search and rescue drills, just can’t be faked. Again, these should be work-product focused, but it could be a joint response to an RFP, or a presentation, or a spreadsheet representing a business model.

You (end-user) can read the text, highlight it, and then it goes right to where you either highlighted the words or sentences and/or if the system has a search component within the transcript option it goes thru that. The systems leverage learning with a very strong dose of sales features – CRM, for example, is one of them. Curtailing the accept every RFP that comes to them. I stopped using an RFP, in 2001 when I would buy systems. I love forecasts.

Learn Amp has some functionality in the mentoring angle, for an example, but many LXPs are still holding back. . You can link to it from the platform to wherever you want to house it, like uh, an LMS for example. . For example, you – an employee works at WidgetRUS. For example, if I have 5000 employees, but only want 500 to have content bundle B, I can do that. Nor have I seen the bookmarklet ability to tie into OneNote for example.

I’d actually say great with the Chrome Extension of Percipio, where you can search by highlighting any word or words on the internet back into the platform. In this example, I removed the name of the entity, so that is why you see black in some areas. The reason for this is when you are searching the net and find something of interest whereas you can see if it exists in Percipio, you can “search” quickly.

IOLs examples: MyQuest (adding extensive metrics this year, learning quests, reports 60% engagement level – not content related. Example: Training Orchestra. I teach a class called “Managing Multimedia Projects” in that class students are given an RFP for an e-learning based proposal and they have to develop a solution. Examples included awarding random prizes, such as one flower bouquet per week for best posting and t-shirt giveaways. There theme was: “Find what makes you happy.” They focused on search engine optimization.
