Unable to Install Captivate 2017 – 64 bit

Dear Users,

When I try to install Captivate 2017 – 64 bit in my machine, the setup file runs up to 3% and then stops. It doesnt throw any error messages or alerts but it keeps buffering at 3% with the installation time increasing a minute.

I am using Windows 10 Enterprise Edition. In addition, I am not connected to any client network and my firewall is turned off.

Any suggestions or ideas would be highly appreciated.

Hi Raghu,

 

Could you please share the installer logs. you can find the logs under: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers

 

Check for latest logs for Adobe Captivate 10. Please forward the logs at tcssup@adobe.com

 

Once we will review the logs, we should be able to find the cause.

May I suggest that you  mention  being a staff memmber? It can be deducted from the inserted email address, but some users could be reluctant. On the Jive forums, staff members have a special badge, which is not the case here.

Are you sure that the application will be installed on your system, not on a networked drive? I have no experience whatsoever with Enterprise edition.  Which OS are you using?
