Update June 2008 - added one free flash quiz tool based on a question I received. Here's guild member satisfaction ratings for tools in the test / quiz category. Unfortunately, it didn't tell me how they produced output and the desire was for self-contained Flash. But, I could quickly link to the sites to find out more and finally recommended that they should look at: Articulate Quizmaker allows you to easily create Flash-based quizzes, surveys, and assessments.

Tech skills are intermediate. Classtools.net - Create educational games, activities and diagrams in a Flash. Quiz, Assessment Creation Software. Classmarker – For Corporate and Academia - online quiz maker that marks your tests and quizzes for you. While you can get going very quickly without any real tech skills, because it is similar and in some ways superior to Photoshop – to really maximize it, you need intermediate tech skills or be a regular Photoshop user.

Some training will still be preferred face to face such as when team building or in-person soft skills are important, but 2009 will be the year when we realize that we should be justifying any in-person training. We may also see use of Flash Quiz Tools , polls, survey tools or something like Harbinger Knowledge's Team Pod. We are now offering a Work Literacy Skills Workshop. Prediction #4 => Less Authoring - More Web Pages While we may want to use our authoring tools all the time, there's going to be more and more cases where clients (internal or external) are going to be just find with some web pages and maybe some embedded training snippets or an embedded fun Flash Quiz. Prediction #10 => Knowledge Worker Skills - Just Beginning in 2008, Big in 2009 The discussion of knowledge work skills is going to be BIG.
