Authoring Tool Market – What I am seeing

HTML5 output. Right now I am doing a survey on authoring tools (more on this at the end of the post) and so far 100% of all respondents state that HTML5 output is required in an authoring tool. I do believe that HTML5 output will continue to grow as an authoring tool feature. HTML5 templates. Others have at least 10.

Flash will still have an impact (at least in the area of mobile learning). The role of the learning leader is shifting from being a program manager to a solution architect. One thing that I've not heard discussed as much is the voice recognition and text-to-speech of the application.
