Developers, like me, get excited for new releases of software. I work with several instructional designers and one of their constant frustrations with Captivate in the past has been that you can't have a graded and non-graded quiz. Adobe Flash - The initial interface was built in Flash. However, the Flash movie sits within Articulate Presenter and navigates to an assessment made in Articulate Quizmaker which also sits within the same Presenter project (more on this later). Adobe Captivate - I used this for creating every simulation in the course. Articulate Presenter - This is what I plopped the Flash and Quizmaker into. It also has a button that takes you to the quiz.

Whenever a comparison of eLearning authoring tools is published, Captivate still is considered to be the best tool for creation of software tutorials. Maybe a blog, explaining why I am wondering about the use of Captivate for the creation of software tutorials, explaining the three possible workflows with growing level of interactivity can lead to some feedback anyway. I think about merging with 360 slides, real quiz slides, adding links to other assets etc. Intro.

When using the Submit All feature for a quiz, up till now it was not possible to localize this popup dialog box (style can be changed using the Object Style Manager): In Captivate 2017, the dialog box whidh appears when you click the option ‘Submit All Messages in Quiz, Preferences has all you need to localize everything. Retina screen – software recordings. However to record a Video Demo or a Software simulation you did have to edit the AdobeCaptivate.ini file.
