Instructional design was actually being used. Because of the way the courses were designed. Everyone I knew, followed the ADDIE approach. Flash was very popular, but you needed to know Flash – and yep even in Flash, you could take the course design to a whole new level of engagement.

Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!) Easy to use interface and supports SCORM and AICC. #18 Not with Publisher.

No tech skills or knowledge of ID (instructional design needed). #17 While beginners could jump in and start to create a course, I see it more as a product for instructional designers and some e-learning developers. 14 Mzinga Publisher. Can convert Flash to HTML5. Easy to use. 3D elements library.
