Adobe Flash - The initial interface was built in Flash. However, the Flash movie sits within Articulate Presenter and navigates to an assessment made in Articulate Quizmaker which also sits within the same Presenter project (more on this later). Articulate Presenter - This is what I plopped the Flash and Quizmaker into.

Studio ‘09 is made up of three different tools: Presenter, Engage, and Quizmaker. The new Quizmaker, in particular, is a welcome addition to the Articulate Studio Suite. Together with FlyPaper, Camtasia, and Snagit, this package will let developers capture screens, record videos, and add flash animations to their elearning content.

At first glance, I have to say that e-Learning Studio provides more bang for the buck (this package comes with Captivate, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign). Too often instructional designers are stuck trying to make stock photography make sense in multiple situations.

Despite what Articulate might say the most used products within Studio are Presenter and Quizmaker. Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!) Well besides my rankings of course, think about this: 1st vendor to offer collaboration and peer review.

I’ve always found this product to be the top of the line for PowerPoint to Flash course builds. Two components are the shining stars – Presenter and Quizmaker. No e-learning developer or instructional designer would ever say “slides” If they did, they would have to walk the plank.

For my instructional designers and e-learning developers, they loved creating courses. QuizMaker – which assumes you have Studio. Flash – since my goal was to have the course visible on an iPad, I did not select this feature. Flash does not work on the iPad series. Entering Storyline. Record a screen.
