Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). Saba. Saba does a good job as well. The product is Flash based, which is nice, but lack of mobile optimization for the iPad. Your competitors are not always the Big Dogs – Learn.com, Saba, Plateau, etc. LMS Products of the Year 2010. A lot of great products out there this year, new updates and latest versions; new companies, new services and just some real innovation. These standout to me.

Saba Software – March 2011 – Review of Learning, Connect & Performance. It offers the ability to create courses in HTML5 or Flash. So, you can still have audio/video in HTML5, just as you can with Flash. What is nice, is that 99% of the tablets in the market today, and the majority coming out into the market this coming year, will accept both Flash and HTML5. Do not assume that your vendor or potential vendor will work with an earlier version of Flash, Windows or even IE. . There are some systems that will not work with older versions of Flash.
