Let’s say you are developing a beautiful course on which you’ve spent a lot of time finding just the right images, audio, and video. You can also crop out pieces of the images you’re using if you don’t need the whole image. PNG has the advantage of a smaller file size; GIF has the advantage of also working for simple animations.
